This December, Miami and Miami Beach will again be the center of the art world and will host over 20 art fairs, 1,200 galleries and thousands of artists. The annual cultural fête will also attract thousands of art collectors and buyers, VIPs, art lovers and tourists from all around the world. Combine that with fabulous weather, countless fashion, music and cultural events and an endless supply of celebrities, parties and galas and South Florida is THE place to be.
Our staff members have decades of experience in the arts, entertainment and event industries. We know firsthand of the exorbitant costs of participating in art fairs, including booth fees, art shipping and logistics, staffing, travel, etc.. We also know that not all potential art collectors, buyers and art lovers can make the trip to Miami or the get to the many, simultaneous art shows in Miami and Miami Beach. Many art fairs limit participation to galleries only, and many emerging artists who do not have gallery representation are unable to have their work shown at most of the Miami Art Week fairs.
The Miami Art Week digital platform (www.miamiartweek.art), provides galleries, artists and arts organizations with the opportunity to collaborate, exhibit and promote artwork to collectors, VIPs and art lovers at little or no cost. Our mission is to provide the access and opportunity for emerging artists, galleries and not-for-profit arts organizations as well as established galleries from throughout the world to be included in Miami Art Week and be seen and discovered.
Our international distribution and communication network allows prospective collectors and buyers to view available artwork, many of which are being exhibited at the Miami fairs, from wherever they may be located worldwide. Through our platform, prospective collectors and buyers are able to contact galleries, artists and organizations directly regarding their interest, and in some cases purchase artwork before fairs and exhibitions are open to VIPs and the public.
The art world and the business of art is changing rapidly. The Miami Art Week digital platform represents the next generation of art access, collaboration and commerce and how art is experienced. In late November, our participating Miami Art Week exhibitors will be live on the site, in advance of the opening of the Miami fairs. We hope you enjoy the Miami Art Week online Fair along with our future Art Week, Photo and Ultra Art Fairs in most major art markets throughout the world.
